The hotel was charming little and good standard and the room was modernly furnished. I was here for 4 nights and ate at attached restaurant with a spectacular view.

I'll start by moving us to the Hotel de savoi. For the same money. That's why the Savoi met all our expectations. Big apnea room. There's no shower room for Aanna. But everything is very beautiful. Delicious fragrant bath accessories. It's a lovely terrace where breakfast is served. Beautiful view. Everything's very tasty. The location near the train station, which was very convenient, because a lot of driving... In general, I recommend it.
There are a few nuances, but they're not flaws, they are. Maybe for someone it's fundamental... 1. We danced in room 206. 2nd floor. The room window overlooked a nearby house. I mean, you can't open a window at night because it's a residential building right next door to the neighbor's window. But since we only came to the room at night and were very tired, it kind of smoothed it out. 2. There's no closet with shelves to put our clothes in. Just an open space, beautiful of course, with hangers, that's all. 3. We wanted to order ice in the room, but room service wasn't reached.

The hotel was very nice and in a good location. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. It was the best we had on our European vacation. We enjoyed our one night stay.
Everything was good.

This is a lovely hotel in the grand old fashioned tradition. Beautiful terrazzo floors in the room and a spacious marble bathroom. It is on a busy roundabout so it is best to ask for a quiet room. We paid euros 98 per night including breakfast which was a wonderful buffet style with lots of variety. Parking would have been 18 euros extra per night but we were lucky to get a spot very close to the hotel which was free so we left our car there for the whole time of our stay. We liked the area as it was not so congested as the tiny lanes nearer to the port. We would certainly stay there again.
We were not happy that the only English tv channel available was Eurosport - no cnn or bbc. We dined next door in the Grand Savoia Hotel which is the sister hotel to the Continental but we found the food to be very insubstantial, expensive and not value for money although the service and surroundings were excellent. We could not recommend it, nor would we dine there again. There were very few customers in the dining room and we can understand why. It is a pity because the dining room is very beautiful. Other than those 2 complaints we had a very enjoyable stay.

Booked a room with marvellous views of harbor. Extremely helpful and very friendly staff, they had a shuttle to the airport. The hotel had an absolutely perfect location next to a century palace.

Good location near the Piazza Principe station, it takes a 5 min to get to the Villa Principe or Via Balbi with Palazzo Reale. Nice breakfast, especially a possibility to have it outdoor.

Everything about this hotel was first class! In particular, the hotel staff was incredibly helpful. We checked out at 4:30am on August 8 to get to the airport. The gentleman at the desk called a taxi and helped carry out our bags! When we asked about coffee he called someone in the kitchen and this gentleman brought a fresh cup of coffee out to the reception desk for us to drink quickly as we prepared to exit from the hotel. I have never experienced that level of service - especially when you consider we were walking out the door and already felt good about our stay. I hope these two staff members can be commended for their service in the middle of the night when there was no one around to witness their efforts!!
